Recruiting Ph.D.s for the NDIAS Distinguished Graduate Fellowship

Author: Pauline Namuleme

The Notre Dame Institute for Advanced Study (NDIAS) is currently recruiting its Distinguished Graduate Fellowship cohort for 2023-2024. This is a premium, year-long fellowship which supports five graduate fellows whose research and career goals include interdisciplinary engagement and attention to the critical questions of ethics, value, and meaning that are confronted in that research.

Graduate fellows will become a part of the interdisciplinary research community at the NDIAS, which includes internal and external faculty fellows whose research speaks to the 2023-2024 NDIAS theme, "The Long Run."

Grad fellows attend weekly research seminars, dinners, conferences, and other social events hosted by NDIAS and receive a stipend of up to $39,000 along with a $1000 research fund. Grad fellows also participate in the fall and spring retreats which offer training in presenting research to broad audiences in both speech and written form.

If you are currently a third or fourth year graduate student who is interested in interdisciplinary research and meeting dynamic, established scholars working on projects that speak to the various meanings of The Long Run, apply for the 2023-2024 Distinguished Graduate Fellowship.

Applications will be accepted until March 8, 2022.
