I was born in Rosario, Argentina. I came to the US in 2003 to pursue my PhD in Spanish. I work at Nd since 2007. I am an Early Modern scholar as well as a writer--I have published 3 books of fiction lately. My academic interests spin around identities, power, resistance, power relations, gender and racial themes in pre Modern times, as well as exile, language, dwelling and writing in my creative books.
