Location: 131 DeBartolo (View on map )

SPI@ND is partnering with the Accomplice Project to hold an on-campus screening of the documentary Gather, "an intimate portrait of the growing movement amongst Native Americans to reclaim their spiritual, political and cultural identities through food sovereignty, while battling the trauma of centuries of genocide.”

Following the screening, there will be a panel discussion of the film’s topics with some excellent panelists: Aerin Scalco, NASAND member; Gary Moreau, chair of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi food sovereignty committee; and Drs. Paul Winter and Garrett FitzGerald, faculty from the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies.
