Virtual Talk: “Going into Language: I Used to Love to Dream.”

The Notre Dame Initiative on Race and Resilience and the Department of Anthropology are hosting Dr. A.D. Carson for a virtual talk on Wednesday, November 10 at 3:00pm. You are invited to join us. 
 
A.D. Carson is Assistant Professor of Hip-Hop & the Global South in the Department of Music at the University of Virginia. An award-winning rapper, performance artist, and educator, his most recent album, i used to love to dream, is the first ever peer-reviewed rap album published by an academic press. This is the second in a series of four talks this academic year that align with Professor Tracie Canada’s “Black Ethnographers” course in Anthropology. These visits, supported by the Initiative on Race and Resilience, will be hosted via Zoom and are open to all.
