A worldwide movement for racial justice arose after the death of George Floyd in 2020. Terrence Floyd has emerged as a poignant voice in the wake of his brother’s murder, honoring his legacy and using his platform to uplift and galvanize the movement.

With a mission of giving youth reason to believe in a better tomorrow, Terrence shares proactive solutions for ending racial and structural inequality in ways that bring about real and lasting change. Join Notre Dame Student Government and the Klau Center for Civil and Human Rights as Floyd reflects upon his brother’s story and inspires a younger generation to know that theirs is a voice that needs to be heard.

Terrence Floyd is a board member of The George Floyd Memorial Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit committed to building a just and equal society and ending systemic racism. He is also the founder of We Are Floyd, a Brooklyn-based nonprofit dedicated to honoring the life of George Floyd through community service and leadership and providing young people of color hope for the future.
